The Invitation Contact
For They Shall be Comforted
With Cloud Study 3 transformed through Photoshop to a semi-abstract
image, this resulting transformation was inkjet printed onto a white
cotton ground before being further worked into with progressive layers
of hand stitch.
The image which had started with the natural
world now inspired thoughts of both the human drama of suffering and
war and the loving, healing promise of Christ, contained within the
veil of the spirit, entering into the wounds of humanity's grief.
