Seven Breaths







This mixed media piece, two details of which are shown here, was exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art, Machynlleth as part of the Open Competition in 2009. 















Taking as my theme, "I came like Water, and like Wind I go", a line or lines selected from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam being the theme for the competition, I stitched portraits of family members at various stages of life.
