The Invitation Contact
A Moment's Deep Despair
This mixed
media piece , with its companion, "Return of Hope", was
made for
Prism's 2009 Exhibition
in the Mall Galleries. The theme was
"Headlines" and I thought immediately of the news about the young
people who had committed suicide, all within a small radius in South
Wales.
This had brought back memories of a difficult time for me, the event
depicted
showing me down on the prom in Aberystwyth with a cold wind blowing
seeking not death but oblivion and living through the grace of God.
